This freestanding soaking tub is hand-hammered from solid copper and finished to showcase a blue-green patina, a naturally occurring color shift in aged copper.

Is the blue-green color a coating or does it develop naturally? This patina replicates the natural verdigris that copper develops with age and moisture exposure, giving the tub an already-aged character. Will the patina rub off with use? The patina is stable under normal bathing use, though harsh abrasive cleaners can wear it unevenly over time.
Where is this product made?
Brassluxe pieces are handcrafted and hand-finished by skilled metal artisans in Morocco. Natural variation in tone and texture is part of the character of a handmade piece.
What materials and finishes are used?
Our fixtures and lighting are made from solid brass or copper. Unlacquered brass is a living finish that naturally develops a richer patina through time and use.
