Why is each hammered copper tub slightly different? Hand-hammering is a manual process, so texture, dimpling, and minor surface variation are part of the handmade character rather than defects. Does copper retain heat well? Yes, copper conducts and holds heat efficiently, helping bathwater stay warmer for longer than some other tub materials.
Where is this product made?
Brassluxe pieces are handcrafted and hand-finished by skilled metal artisans in Morocco. Natural variation in tone and texture is part of the character of a handmade piece.
What materials and finishes are used?
Our fixtures and lighting are made from solid brass or copper. Unlacquered brass is a living finish that naturally develops a richer patina through time and use.
